Katia Yagnik

Katia Yagnik serves the Adelante team by offering assistance to institutions of higher education that wish to be more undocumented friendly and by volunteering on the finance committee. Katia currently works as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Rochester, and in the past worked in the SUNY system where she co-founded the Undocumented Allies Taskforce. Katia also worked in her early career as Education Coordinator at Rural & Migrant Ministry with their youth empowerment programs across the state. Katia received her BA at Vassar College and MA at Teacher's College, in Sociology of Education.
