Catholic Charities Community Services of Dutchess County (CCCSDC) helps solve the problems of local individuals in need: the neglected child, the homeless family, the newly arrived immigrant or refugee, the hungry senior, or the newly unemployed for non-Catholics and Catholics alike. CCCSDC is a resource for needy families and individuals in Dutchess County, offering a wide array of free and professionally administered direct services to county residents at our main office in downtown Poughkeepsie and throughout the county.
Hudson Valley Justice Center
Hudson Valley Justice Center is based in Westchester County and provides legal aid and assistance accessing health care and other important programs. Lawyers at Hudson Valley Legal Services can help you open a new case, or offer defense if you have to appear in immigration court.
Ulster Immigrant Defence Network
Help with household needs including food, clothing, furniture, school supplies, and emergency financial aid;
Assist individuals who want to get a driver’s license.
Provide rent and utilities assistance;
Information and referrals for legal support, healthcare, social services, time-sensitive problems, and more through our helpline, 1-888-726-7276;
Arrange for safe spaces and sanctuary;
Respond to ICE actions;
Arrange transportation and/or accompaniment for health care and school-related appointments, court appearances, ICE check-ins, and other official meetings. The more notice we have, the more likely we will be able to help. No rides can be arranged without at least two days’ notice.

Helpline and office volunteers are bilingual English/Spanish speakers. We do our best to help those who speak other languages.
